The Truth About Steroids

Many news shows and such give steroids a bad name. Too many people abuse these substances, but that is not the fault of the substance. I know that many people buy anabolic steroids to give them an edge over their competitors in many sports. Baseball, Football, Weight Lifting, Body Building, and Wrestling are just a few of the sports that come to mind when you think of steroids and their affects. It is true that many steroids like deca durabolin are used by people illegally, but some of these substances are very helpful to people and it is not the substance but the people who abuse them who should be in trouble. Deca therapy is a very common injectable steroid that is used to bulk up and if used properly can be very helpful in attaining rapid muscle growth. People don't like it but this injectable steroid has been available by prescription since 1962 in this country and is a very good steroid to use especially if you are into body building. Like anything over doing anything can have its bad effects, but it is still available today and many people use it without a problem.

Clenbuterol is also a steroid that is widely used, only it is prescribed mostly for asthma but can also be used for weight loss. No one sees a problem with using these steroids but everyone is up in arms about anabolic steroids.

This is all just a media hype situation and people need to realize that. People need to do more to educate themselves about steroids facts . There are many things that medicine doesn't know about, but they still put the stuff on the market. Anabolic steroids have been around for years and years, over 40 to be exact and if they didn't serve a purpose, then why are they still around?

I think that it is important to make informed choices, but I also feel that it is our right to do what we want to our own bodies. After all, the government can't tell us what we can and can not take, that just isn't right. If you choose to avoid using steroids, then that is a personal choice and I respect your right to choose, but as for me I am still going to use steroids to pump up before a competition and I feel that is my informed choice and my right. My body, my decision.

The best part of getting old

My grandparents are getting really old and sometimes going out to dinner with them can be a real experience. The last time my husband and I went out to dinner with my grandparents, was to say the least a real experience. First we were seated next to the window and grandma was getting too cold, which meant we had to move away from the windows and into the bar area. Moving my grandmother was a whole experience in and of itself. Well, after a few drinks, my grandfather starts telling us about how getting older stinks and how they can't have sex anymore, but of course he wants to, so he went to the doctor and got a prescription so he could buy Viagra or did he buy Cialis , he wasn't really sure but in any case he got the stuff from an online pharmacy and then he gave it a try, but still nothing. He said he was going back to the doctor to see if he had something stronger. I kept thinking to myself, this is a little bit too much information, and that drugs like Viagra and Cialis were really for people who were experiencing erectile dysfunction , not for people who were too old to really have sex like him and grandma, and I do mean really too old. Well, next this singer who was less than wonderful starts singing and a band starts playing and well, that was it for the conversation, which I was truly grateful for, because my grandfather is hard of hearing and he can't have a conversation over the band and the singing. I was really glad until my grandparents started singing and banging on the table and clapping to the rhythm, and then it all got to be a bit much all over again. They kept saying how great the singer was and how great the band was and all that stuff. Then my grandparents made a request, while my grandfather insisted on tipping the singer for the great job she was doing. She was honestly a really bad singer, but I guess that is the great thing about being old. Eventually when you get old enough you don't know good singing from bad and you don't care what anyone thinks of you and I think that is probably the best part of getting old.
