BEING PSYCHIC IS AN INTERESTING PHENOMENA

I am not sure if there really is any quantitative way to prove or disprove being a psychic. I know that many people are skeptical when they hear about a Free Psychic Reading and think that it is just a hoax.

I have known some people who truly claim to be psychic and although they don't tend to offer free psychic readings or anything, there seems to be some validity to the psychic readings that they give to family and friends. They do seem to have a feel for some stuff that is really out there, I mean things that no one really knows. At times I have even felt a bit psychic, being able to feel that something was going to happen or know about something before I am told. Certainly not enough knowledge to sit and do a reading, but if some people can be more of something and some less than if I have a little bit of psychic ability why can't people have more of it. It just seems to me that people who don't believe in psychics are just a little closed off to the interconnectedness of the world and the people in it.

Psychic phenomena do exist and just because all the science in the world can't necessarily quantify it, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. After all, there really is no measurement for pain and yet we don't discourage people from expressing it, so why stop people from displaying proudly their psychic abilities.

So for all you nay sayers leave the psychics alone. If you don't believe them then you don't have to go to them. Personally, I find the whole concept quite amazing and I get a free psychic reading any chance I get, after all it can't hurt anything, right? Well, maybe unless they tell you something really bad, but I have found for the most part that doesn't really happen. I don't think that they say really bad things as a rule because it could significantly alter someone's life and no one wants that kind of responsibility hanging on them.

The Lottery

I was just reading this article about the euromillions online on my welcome home page. I guess it is the European lottery and it takes place once a week (on Friday). And you can go to the euro millions website and buy a ticket for that week (basically like elottery). The prize pool rolls over and over if no one wins that week so it keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I actually even read that it was one of the biggest lotteries because there are 9 countries are participating in it (including: Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom).

So you can go online and play the lottery and get your ticket and then you can check the results every Friday at the same website. It is extremely convenient. On the website they also have stories about people who have won in the past. Most of the stories include people buying new homes, paying off debt and buying cars. But some of them are actually really interesting.

One that I read was about this man who just decided one day to play and had never played the lottery before in his life because he couldn't afford it. And he won! His home was being foreclosed on and his family was about to be homeless and they had no family or anywhere to go and had 2 small children. It was such a great, almost miracle and unbelievable story. The man worked 3 jobs and was so deserving of what he got. And in turn he was able to buy is home back (obviously) and he still lived pretty modestly (for winning the lottery) and turned his winnings into something great. He opened up a clinic where he helped counsel people who were losing their homes and opened a shelter for complete families (not men only or women and children) so that families could be together in a crisis like this. He also helped them find jobs and got into contact with local business owners who were looking to hire.

It is so great to hear about people in need getting the help that they deserve. And through the lottery!!! It is such a cool story to hear about and it makes you want to play just for that small (very very small) chance that it may happen to you one day too.

CUSTOM RESEARCH PAPER GETS ME OUT OF A BIND

Okay, so I am beginning to realize that I am just completely over extended. I didn't really see it coming, it was just pick up an extra few credits, a few extra hours at work, stop by to help my grandmother pack up for her move to the nursing home. It was all really innocent. I didn't see that I was boxing myself in, and now I have about 35 hours of work this week, two papers do, and Grandma who needs to be completely packed and moved by the end of the month. The whole thing is quite frankly a nightmare. So I asked a girl at work to take my shift so that I could go home and work on my paper and she told me about this service she uses to write her papers for her. She said that she couldn't take my shift, but she gave me their name. Now I debated about doing this, but if I don't get everything done then I will have some serious problems, one big one could be that I will lose some of the money that I get through a scholarship at school. Plus, honestly, what will I get from the whole thing anyway, so I decided to contact the company and find out about their Custom Research Paper services and they don't take them from anyone, they actually produce one for you. They also offer custom essay services. And they can write anything for you that you need. Well, this was a quick and effective way to get me out of the jam I was in. I couldn't believe how reasonably priced this Essay Writing Service was. All I do know is that it was an excellent help to me in my time of need. Sure, I do realize that my school work is important, but sometimes trying to balance my studies with the demands of my family and the financial demands of being at school can be a lot. I am a good student and could have done the paper myself, I just ran out of time, and it is nice to know that services like this exist in your time of need.

Trying my hand at sporst betting

Guess what everyone!? I am going to Las Vegas this weekend! I am so stoked I can't believe it. I have never been so I am in for an experience. My girls invited me to go with them a few days ago so this is such a surprise and an unexpected delight. We got a hotel suite comped for a few nights but since there are too many of us we are going to split the other room which is fine. I have been studying up on the games in Vegas (well any casino) because I have no idea what to do. I am reading all about the betting odds for each game and how different the odds number of decks, for example, in blackjack mean goes up and down for a win or loss.

I know I will lose money but it will be fun anyways I think. My old boss wants me to place a bet on a game or two for him since it is March Madness. I know even less about sports odds so I am having him make me nice directions on exactly what to do. He does not do sport betting often but he figured since I will be in Sin City I may as well throw down for him. It's his deal, not mine. I will stick to the $5 blackjack and nickel and quarter slots. I did hear about the American Idol slot machines at one of the casinos so that will fun I think. I just have to see them.

I want to go to some shows to try and get me away from gambling but we will see how that goes. I know I will stay far away from poker as I am more readable than 24 point font is from a 10 inch distance. It is going to be so much fun; I love spring break. My nerves are setting in because we are leaving bright and early tomorrow and I still need to pack and clean since I am returning from Vegas then leaving the next day back to school. I will have some stories to tell I am sure. Hopefully good ones otherwise I will adhere to the what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas though I have a feeling since there is 16 of us going if I make a fool of myself everyone will know. Cameras shall not be allowed near me! Must go pack everyone! Hope you're break is as awesome as mine.

Poker: SO many different forms to play

Full tilt poker is the thing right now. A lot of my friends are really into poker and it has been on the rise for a while. The best part about poker is that here are so many ways that you can play.

You can have friends over for a poker game. My parents used to have a weekly game night where they would switch off with their friends and they would get together and play card games and drink and just hang out and relax. On the show Desperate Housewives they always get together to play poker and gossip. Poker used to be seen as more of a mans game and it really has changed over the years I think. Especially after the show came on and people saw that.

You can have a casino night for charity. My grade school had a casino night every year to raise money. The parents and PTA would deal and put on the casino night and then family members, members of the community and others would come out and have a great time playing poker and black jack and socializing. And then all of the money would go to the school and the kids.

You can play online. Full tilt poker has become popular and playing online is bigger than ever right now. A friend of mine won poker playing online and was entered and won a trip to the Bahamas to continue to play everything was paid for and he brought along friends and they had a great time. They went from playing in their frat house together and online to traveling and playing other people that enjoyed the game as well.

And of course you can go to Vegas or other casinos to play. The thing is, poker definitely isn't new, but I think that it took a little nap and is waking up now. It used to be a thing for older people to play but now younger kids (like high school and college) are really getting into it. There are so many different forms that you can play and get involved, that it makes it easy to want to. My friends and I decided to have a poker night every month just so that we can get together, maybe make (probably lose) a little money and just have a great time.

MAKING A FEW $$$ WITH ONLINE BINGO

Okay, so I never really was into gambling. Sure I played cards a few times with some friends, but never anything serious. Then a friend told me that I should try online bingo and I thought, it sounds pretty boring, like isn't that an old lady game or something like that. But then I tried it and internet bingo was so much fun, that I can't stop playing it. I make sure that I get a chance to play online bingo everyday and I have made sure that my roommate doesn't bother me when I am playing bingo online. Now, I know what you're thinking, this guy needs to get a life or something, but it is really a lot more fun than you would think and not only that but once you begin playing, you will want to play all the time, that is how it is with me. I even got another guy I know to play free bingo and he says he finds it not only relaxing but that he really enjoys it.

Now, even if you have never played bingo or any type of game online, you need to give this a try. It is a lot more exciting than playing in the church on a Saturday evening. This is the modern version of the old game, and you will be happy to know that you depending on the site you can win big. Last night I made one hundred dollars playing bingo, and about a week ago I found this other site and won $500. Don't get me wrong, I have suffered my share of losses, but then I just play some more and I eventually make back my money. It is kind of like on that Seinfeld, where Jerry always breaks even. Well, that is kind of how I am, always breaking even, only sometimes I make some money and I think that is the best thing about playing bingo online, it is the fact that you can not only have fun, but make some money doing it.

Sports Illustrated

I was never really into sports illustrated magazine. Sure, I like sports, but I don't want to sit around reading about them when I really don't know THAT much about the topic. I do however look forward to seeing the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition when it comes out.

My favorite part though is when they have the TV show where they talk about the behind the scenes stuff with the models and everyone is walking around in their lingerie like it is no big deal and everyone looks good (well maybe not the camera men) and they are all super skinny and tan. I don't even hate them for being and looking perfect and I'm not, I just love to watch it. They talk about what they eat and how they have to work out like crazy to get into shape for the shoot. They even go over what they where between lingerie and swimsuits.

My favorite part in the last edition was how they had painted on swim suits for some of them. It was done so well that you couldn't even tell that it was paint; they actually looked like real suits! And then designs were so intricate and they took hours to do.

It is fun to watch because part of you wishes you were like them and could get paid for looking and being beautiful and you got a ton of nice clothes and could go all over the world and be photographed (and be rich) but the other part of you is watching and thinking about how they have to diet like crazy and even starve themselves and how they work out a ton and they travel so much (and most of them are from different countries) that they don't get to see their families that much. And then you feel better about yourself and that you aren't them.

But overall it is a really cool thing to read and look at and see their different suits and profiles in the magazine and then to watch the show and see all of the work that goes into making the magazine (and that it really isn't as easy as it looks) and you get to hear the models and camera people talking about their best and worst parts of the shoot. It really is a fun and cool thing to watch if you get a chance to.

Online Casinos are so Convenient and Fun

An online casino is something that is new to me. Having just turned 21 I haven't really had the chance to go to a casino (along with most of my friends) but I have heard recently about people using online casinos and actually making a lot of money from them.

Since I have never been to a casino I don't really know what I am missing from the atmosphere from being online instead. But I do know that if I had the chance to shop online or bank or do anything else from the comfort of my own home instead of having to go out (especially in the cold weather) I would definitely prefer that. It would be nice to just be able to go online in the privacy of your own home, in your pajamas or whatever and have a snack and go online and do a little gambling.

It is crazy all of the things that you can do online now. I check my email, transfer money from my savings account to my checking account (and sometimes from my dad's to mine), shop, order my books, do my homework and check my grades and stay in touch with friends from home (or even in school). There are so many things now that get done online and it's so much more efficient than having to drive to the bank then to the store then the bookstore and to the post office. You can do literally almost anything with a click of a mouse. So the fact that you can gamble online doesn't really surprise me.

It did surprise me though that online casinos are so popular. I had no idea that a lot of my friends were doing the online gambling thing. One of my friends actually won a ton of money playing online poker and got a free trip to the Bahamas to play more with other people that play online. Even though I just turned 21 and can now go to casinos and gamble I think that I might like online casinos more than having to get dressed up and go out. Sometimes you just feel like doing something but not having to do out and drive there. This way people can enjoy the fun of the casino but in the privacy of their own home.

Online Gambling

Free online poker seems to be the new thing. One of my friends won a lot of money in online poker through online casinos and ended up also winning a trip to go play poker in the Bahamas. He had a really great time and it was interesting to see the opportunities that were opened up to him through the gambling online. The trip was totally paid for and he got to do something that he loves doing: poker!

Free online slots are much more convenient obviously than casinos slots because they can be played in your own home instead of having to travel somewhere to a casino. The downside to online slots however is that fact that you could become addicted more easily. With the opportunity to play at your fingertips at all times it could be hard to resist the temptation. That being said, online gambling is a wonderful and fun thing to take part in.

The internet has become such an everyday thing. I go online a hundred times a day. I do my homework and check my grades. I email my dad and check my bank balance (then email my dad again for money ha). The things that people can do online are endless. I know someone who does all of her shopping online. She even gets her groceries delivered to her door (fresh) and she loves it. So online gambling doesn't surprise me one bit. It is actually something that I would be interested in trying sometime. I would probably want to learn how to play poker before betting money on it online, but it sounds like a fun an exciting way to win a little money. A friend of mine just won two thousand dollars playing (of course he actually knows how to play and does it often). I can only aspire to be like that ha.

But with the internet becoming so easy to access and everyone being on it, you do have to make sure you are being safe about where you put your personal information or type in your credit card or bank account number. Just because it says it is safe doesn't mean that it really is. So just being careful about who you tell your information to is key, but also having fun and not being paranoid. The internet brings so many good things, why not have poker be one of them!

Escorts

I really didn't know anything about escort services or even what escorts were until one day when I was watching a crime TV show and they were talking about these soccer moms who decided to open their own “adultwork” business on the side. The crime wasn't actually the business, it was the fact that the two women ending up killing someone (which I guess is beside the point) but it really made me interested in this topic that I had never heard of before. Adultwork seems to be something that is frowned upon like in television shows, but I wonder how is really happens in the real world. It is interesting more now than ever because politicians are getting caught (married politicians) sleeping with ‘professionals' and instead of being ashamed of their adult work, they end up making a ton of money and some of them are even writing books about their experiences. Actually I think I even heard about a TV movie or TV show coming out about the secret lives of escorts or something like that.

I know people look down on the profession, but really, who are we to judge? Obviously these women are business savvy and know how to make money. Some of them are in this line of work because they are funding their schooling or providing for their families. On the television show Grey's Anatomy, one of the interns paid for her school by stripping and they focused almost an entire episode on that aspect. But I think more of it came out about her doing what she had to do and know she is debt free and becoming a doctor than her being ashamed. It was more of an accomplishment, or a step towards her accomplishment to her (and probably to a lot of the viewers that could relate to her in some way).

I feel like maybe instead of judging other people in general, we should just accept them and what they do. Adult work may be off limits for some people, but for others it is about passion and for others it is about business and a way of like and surviving. So while we are doing things the way we like to do them, other people are living their lives the way they want to and I don't really think it is any of our business to judge that.
